Periorbital Disorders

Cellulitis

Acute infection of periorbital area is very discomforting and painful condition. Many times it causes proptosis. This must be treated vigorously with broad spectrum multiple antibiotics including injectables along with anti-inflammatory and vitamins to increase resistance of the patient. If abscess is prevented, surgical intervention can be avoided.

Osteomyelitis

Like any where in the body, it is treated by surgery along with long term medical high end antibiotic therapy. If bone destruction is more bone grafting may be needed after total control of infection to restore the orbital or the periorbital contour.

Orbital margin Distortion

In traumatic bony loss or osteomyelitis, where margin is distorted, a bone grafting is the answer but at  the appropriate time.

Canthal Laceration

Both bony and soft tissue reconstruction of medial or lateral canthi is done to offer a good functional and cosmetic results.

Para-nasal Sinus Pathologies

If pathologies of paranasal sinuses posing the periorbital problems, the help of ENT surgeon must be taken and proper procedure is allowed to be carried out by him.
